Beneath the drawing, "Love/Your good friend,/Bernie Waber/and/Your other good friend/Lyle". Jacket spine is slightly darkened, and there is a 1/2" by 1" chip missing at the rear fold. An attractive copy with an endearing inscription.

Contents are fine, mostly unread. Offsetting from engravings. One volume with light foxing, the last few pages. Each volume with some cracking at the front gutter with volumes 2 and 5 tender but holding. Volume 4 is dated 1771, while the others are dated 1765. Volumes 2-5 with a small chip at the spine tail.
