Illustrated, small octavo, pp xiv, 209, generally very clean internally, green cloth in very good condition, the dustwrapper is lightly price-clipped, slightly age-toned, and the fold-over flaps are a little browned. HOWEVER - this is an ex-library copy, though a very good one. There are no markings to the dustwrapper; the cloth has a faint shelf number on its spine; there are neat withdrawn stamps on all the endpapers and on the verso of the title page; there are neat circular stamps on the title page, and on some of the plates, also at the end of each chapter. Despite this, the book has seen very little use, aand is very presentable both on the shelf and in handling.. First Edition. Cloth. Good/Good.
