Presumed first edition. 143pp., printed rectos only; title-page and floral border graphics printed in purple. Octavo; dark gray textured-paper stamped in gilt to front board and spine; dust jacket. Moderate bump to head of spine, with some splitting to the paper; light toning to textblock edges. Very good in a good (+) jacket with a 1.5" triangular chip to head of rear panel, numerous other small chips and short tears. Signed and inscribed to half-title: "To Musie with love Pilar." Poems exploring various sensual-mystical-erotic themes, their dubious literary merit counterbalanced to some degree by the idiosyncratic enthusiasm of their composition - and punctuation! Of the author, Pilar, we find little credible information; a two-page foreword here identifies her as born in Peru in 1947, and adds that she has "worked for CBS Television, is no stranger to the advertising agencies on… Read More
