British literary magazine that is notable for an early published appearance by the popular artist/satirist who is mostly known for his many collaborations with Hunter Thompson. Steadman has contributed a very funny portfolio of 7 b&w "penis" drawings and one has been used for the cover and is printed in orange. A must have for Steadman completest. Also included in the issue are pieces by J.G. Ballard and many other British writers and artists who are unknown to me. Very minute light soiling to the white dj. Fine. Also lncluded is a nice full color 28pg. booklet from the dvd release of "Fear and Lothing In Las Vegas" which has many drawings and illustrations by Steadman.

Hollywood: 20th Century Fox, 1989. First Edition . Oversize Paper in Box. An elaborate presskit-promo package for James Cameron's undersea adventure that was not warmly received by critics when first released but has since developed a cult following. The cast included Ed Harris, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Michael Biehn. The kit consists of thirteen 8" x 10" b&w stills and star portraits laid in a black folder. Also included are two large spiral bound paper books. One consists of biographies of the cast and crew and is 40pgs and is printed in full color on heavy glossy paper. The 2nd spiral bound book is production information and is 28pgs also in full color and printed on heavy glossy paper. These two books are stunning and along with the stills are set in a heavy cardboard box. The box has some light wear, with the back having minor indentation, otherwise the enclosed material is fine. Uncommon.

Hollywood: Paramount, 1951. Lobby Card . Lobby Card. This is an original 11" x 14" color tinted lobby card from the second release of the film when the title was changed from "Ace In The Hole" to "The Big Carnival" to try to make more people come to see it. It didn't work. The card is not marked as a reissue or release lobby card and it is the #1 card dated 1951. The card shows Kirk Douglas and Bob Arthur in the cave. The film recently got the Criterion treatment with its original title. Light wear to the edges and a tiny mend to the bottom edge otherwise vg+ Uncommon.

Hard to put one's finger on his work, surreal, gentle odd and above all wonderful. Color covers with black and white comics inside featuring Quimby the mouse. a touch of light wear to the cover, otherwise a near fine copy.

Seattle: Fantagraphics Books, 1993. First Printings . Small Paper. A rare set of 5 issues of the great Chris Ware's Acme Novelty books. The collection includes: No. 1-1993-94, No. 5-1995, No. 6 VI(6) 1999, No. 7. 1999 and No. 11 which is dated 1998 which doesn't make sense. In any case each issue is beautiful and in full color filled with Ware's small surreal drawings including the adventures of Jimmy Corrigan. Each book is in pristine unread condition and is being offered as a collection only.

The act was the ill-fated musical that was directed by Martin Scorsese of all people who did not have a very good time of it. "I was doing a stage play-the only one I'll ever do, I think-called The Act, with Liza Minnelli, and I was having a very very bad time." The show had music & lyrics by Kander & Ebb but only ran for a meager 233 performances but still managed to get 6 Tony nominations including a win for Ms. Minnelli. Liza has signed it "Love Liza" with a little smiley face. Split to the bottom edge of the program's cover and a tiny tear to the bottom edge otherwise fine.
