Name on top of inside front cover. Corners are bumped and worn some. Covers have some wear and are a little dirty. No writing or marks. The pages and color illustrations are in very good condition. This was not a prior library book. Size of book is about 5 1/2 inches wide by 6 3/4 inches high by 1/4 inch thick and has 63 pages. There is 12 color illustrated pages. Book Club Edition. Bottom front corner slightly bumped. Identification and price in pencil partially erased from upper right corner of first free end paper. Rough cut side edge pages. Dust jacket has some small wrinkling at corners and a little wear at rear spine edge.

There is a little bit of glue residue on front upper right corner. On the title at bottom of front cover, someone colored the Y with a red marker. Identification marks on 1st page. Corners bumped and worn. No writing and no page creasing.

See pictures. An interesting thing about this book is dates and names of those people injured or killed on the railroad in 1876.

Dust jacket has some small open tears, spine is sunned, and some wording on rear is worn off. Green boards has some of the color comming off(possibly from book at one time being in a damp location). No writing. Prior owner name on inside front cover. Total pages 96.

An open tear near spine botom is at page 25/26. A small piece is missing from top corners of page 45/46 and 47/48. This is a pictoral reader for very young children.
