An extraordinary item of Italian (and world) football memorabilia, being a Team Photograph Postcard of the 1950's Gre-Ni-Lo, Scudetto-winning AC Milan, which has been signed by every member of the team. The signatures were obtained by team member Gunnar Nordahl at a reunion dinner in the 1970's. The card measures approximately 15cm x 11cm and has been signed by Buffon, Silvestre, Foglia, Annovazzi, Tognon, Bonomi, Gren, Liedholm, Burini, Nordahl and Renosto. Bonomi's signature is smudged a little but the rest (ink & biro) are clear. The card itself is in Fine condition. Provenance: from the Estate of Gunnar Nordahl

Atena Kustannus Oy, 1998. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Good. Ensim Painos. Hardcover in dustjacket, pp. 127, illus. The first complete presentation of Alvar Aalto's work in Lapland. Published to coincide with a major exhibition in Rovaniemi in the same year, this book's leading idea is to clarify how the special conditions of Lapland - and in particular its nature - influenced Aalto's architectural planning. Text in Finnish but with a condensed English-language essay of some 30 pages. The book is in Near Fine condition, very slight tanning and the jacket is in good condition with a short tear to the top edge, rear panel, and a couple of laminate chips at the front.

An attractive, square tight copy of this massive novel by the author of A Dry White Season. Text-block tanned, pushed a little at the spine tips. The dustjacket is unclipped and has some minor shelf-wear to the spine ends and corners but Near Fine. SIGNED at the title page by the author and the signing event ticket is loosely inserted into the book.

Finland: Mosfilm, 1953. 1st Edition . No Binding. Good. An extremely rare Finnish A2 cinema-used poster for the Soviet-era, 1953 historical movie, Admiral Ushakov. The film was first screened in cinemas in Finland in November 1953 with no subsequent theatrical runs. This poster is not a modern reproduction or reprinting and nor is it Video/DVD-related This particular poster is a standard size 60cm x 40cm approx. It is in Good condition - fold-line to centre, free from pinholes or adhesive residue marks. There a few tears to the edges, the biggest of which is 1.5 inches long. No loss of paper involved and therefore easily fixable. The left edge in particular has a few small nicks and one proper tear. The poster is a trifle tanned, perhaps. Notwithstanding the former it remains a very attractive poster, beautifully illustrated in colour (artist name visible in the plate or stone).

Finland: Independent International Picture Corp, 1956. 1st Edition 1st Printing. No Binding. Fine. A very striking and uncommon, standard Finnish A2 cinema-used poster for the 1954 big-game hunting documentary, Africa Adventure, which follows a safari in East Africa led by famous hunter Robert Ruark. The film was released in Finland in 1956 with no subsequent theatrical runs. This poster is not a re-issue or a modern reproduction and nor is it Video/DVD-related. This particular poster measures 61cm x 40cm and was printed by Fotopaino Oy. The poster is in Near Fine condition with one small tear (less than half-inch) to the right edge and a short nick to the bottom edge. Minor creasing to the white border. There are neat single pinholes to the corners - quite difficult to detect. Appears to be a rolled poster with no definite folding creases. A very striking image - almost lithographic quality - in fantastic condition for a cinema-used poster.

Red boards, pp. 117, illustrated fully in colour. The binding is tight, firm and square with minor pushing to the spine tips. The dustjacket has minor chips to the laminate at the head and tail but no actual loss of paper and is in VG clean condition otherwise. Signed by Anthony Browne at the title page and uncommon, thus

New York: Random House, 1946. Hardcover. Fine. First Thus, 2 vols in card slipcase. An attractive edition of the Alices with the original Tenniel illustrations coloured by Fritz Kredel. Identified at the colophon as "Special Edition" - these may have been issued by the original Book of the Month Club either as a gift or as a special purchase for subscribers. In any event not so common these days and they are very pretty books indeed. Lovely clean condition, minor colour fading to the backstrip of Through the Looking Glass. 1/4 cloth with decorated, illustrated boards and blue top-edges, pp. 150 & pp. 165. In a plain card slipcase which may be missing a tipped-on label. Fine.

This is a nice copy, tight and square, shelf-bumped at the corners and pushed at the spine tips a little. Remarkably fresh, white text-block, Macdonald's are/were probably THE WORST publishing house for their use of cheap paper-stock which browns easily. Free from owner names or stains etc, very Near Fine. The dustjacket is also in Near Fine condition with price of £4.95 at the front flap (many copies are unpriced). Minor rubbing to the spine tips and corners, slight creasing along the edges. A nice copy, uncommon thus.

Pushed - understandably - at the spine tips but a VG, remarkably square copy. The dustjacket is unclipped but has wrinkles, creases and minor chipping at the extremities. Nevertheless in Good condition.

2011. Unmounted Photo or Artwork. Fine. Brookes, Peter. A limited edition print (200 copies) of the Oz Magazine cover for number 37 (1971), Angry OZ. The original artwork by Peter "Hack" Brookes. Although numbered /200 this is such a rarity that I am inclined to believe that the actual number of prints produced was considerably smaller than 200. "Angry Oz" was the response to the outcome of the infamous Old Bailey obscenity trial which saw co-editors Richard Neville, Jim Anderson and Felix Dennis handed prison sentences. There are neither dates nor printed publisher info on the print which I believe to be a high-quality giclee print. On thick paperstock, portrait format, the sheet measures 21.5 inches by 30.5 inches. The print is numbered in pencil lower left and signed in pencil lower middle by Richard Neville, co-founder and long-standing editor, both in Australia and the UK.
