The top 2" of the backstrip of the book is a little darkened where the jacket is missing a piece. The bottom edge of the page block has a couple of tiny stains. The jacket is missing the top 2" of the backstrip, and a triangular chip at the bottom of the backstrip which leaves only the "M" and a small piece of the "a" in the last word of the title. The top 2" of the front panel is detached, but present. The jacket is in 2 large pieces, separated at the front edge of the spine.The book itself is tight and square, with no names or other markings internally.

Good+ in cloth with hand tinted illustrations. The hinges are very fragile, and one blank sheet near the front is loose and laid in. A beautiful production, this copy has not survived unscathed. However, the interior pages are all present and intact. The front hinge is held only by the internal ties. There is some wear at the top of the spine, and light general soiling.
