The box isn't in great shape but the 13 small 33 1/3 vinyl records are Like New. The sleeve corners are rubbed. Missing 2 records #5 & 6. Too heavy to ship internationally.

Some rubbing to edges and corners with yellowing. Binding is tight. Wherli's is now closed at 500 W. 5th Ave. Naperville, IL. It was started by Jim Wherli in 1947 followed by his brother John "Harp" Wherli and most recently run by his daughter Lisa.

The only one I can find. Spiral bound. Edgewear, corners creased, name on cover in pencil. Some peeling of the top layer of paper along edges. Inside VG-. Page 17 came detached from bottom coomb and the edges got worn from sticking out beyond the rest of the book. The front end page which is the title page thru page 16 came detached from one ring in the coomb and the firt page has a little crease at the detached spot. Book has several dirty fingerprints and some creased bottom corners.

True first edition. Cover rubbed. Some wear to spine corners. Historically significant.

The personal inscription on the ffep states, "Bob from The Tarrytowner's February, 1950." (By the early 1900's there were more than 65 mansions in Tarrytown, NY earning it the title Millionaire's Colony. Tarrytown historian William C. Gross said it was considered the wealthiest town of its size anywhere in the world.) I believe this is what the inscription refers to. This book has been accused by detractors as Communist propaganda and a seditious call to overthrow organized states. Between 1965 - 1987 Animal Farm was at least challenged in WI, NY, GA and banned in FL unti parents sued and 65 books were reinstated. It was suppressed in Russia from the Moscow International Book Fair in 1977. The above were for political reasons. In 2002 it was banned in schools in the United Arab Emirates for religious reasons. Hard cover is chipped around the edges of the boards with some of the paper missing, also has creases and soil. Hinge is cracked. Pencil personalization erased from title page. Illustrations are watercolored in with some transfer occuring to other areas. Blue pencil partial border on half title page. Has some soil spots and closed tears. Noses and glasses are drawn on faces in pencil with Harold written above a little boy. Some blue pencil scribbles. Bottom couple of stitches came unattached from the binding. No dust jacket. Please see photos. Story is about mother animals and their babies. I see I accidentally erased the cover photo.

Woefert's Toost and other Stories Newstead Abbey. Has a water stain, drawings by various artists. Knickerbocker's History of New York with drawings by FOC Darby. (Remember the Macaronis?) Has a closed tear in the tissue covering the frontis drawing. In VG condition. There is some foxing. The tissue paper is very discolored (not acid free) and some discoloration to rest of book.
