Contrary to the description on the box front, Disc 5 is actually a recording of the Beatles’ 1964 appearance on Alan Freeman’s BBC Pick Of The Pops radio show, containing live on-air repartee with Freeman interspersed with fifteen song performances. Side 1: I Saw Her Standing There, Goin’ To Kansas City, I Forgot To Remember To Forget, You Can’t Do That, Sure To Fall, Can’t Buy Me Love, Matchbox, and Honey Don’t. The stories were first published individually in booklet form as a product promotion between 1888-1889 and made available to the public via post for the price of an envelope and the enclosure of four unused 1¢ postage stamps. Inscribed and signed on the front endpaper and select internal pages by a number of Yasawa Islands natives in appreciation and farewell to the book’s previous owner, an American filmmaker. Also includes the warm inscription and autograph of Richard Evanson opposite his photographic portrait on page 69. Evanson is owner of Nanuya Levu island, renamed "Turtle Island" after purchase by him in the early 1970’s. Turtle Island is where both versions of the movie "The Blue Lagoon" were filmed. A beautiful book.
