He is one of the most influential, and among the most prolific, children's book creators of his generation and one of the strongest contributors to the child's nursery motif that the genre of English children's illustrated literature would exhibit in its developmental stages in the later 19th century.
This edition of "The Baby Bouquet" is a children's book filled with songs and illustrations depicting fairy tales by Walter Crane and color illustrations by Edmond Evans. In addition to 'Bouquet', this lot includes Crane's 'Baby's Opera' – a collection of nursery rhymes and music.
