Description:
First collected edition of the first three Earthsea books by Le Guin. These are some of the finest fantasy of the 20th century. This is an odd edition: the three novels each have their own pagination. This volume has become very scarce. This volume shows slight bumping at the spine ends, some browning of the pages (the paper on British volumes of this period is notorious for this problem), and is otherwise clean and crisp throughout. The jacket shows no tears or marks, and is not price-clipped. If you wish more pictures, please ask.

Description:
Advent made 725 copies of the first edition of this volume, a collection of Robert Bloch's fannish writings. 400 were bound in wraps: this is one of those. Bloch is known primarily as a horror writer, but humor was a part of most of his stories: and this collection, of his writings for fanzines, showcases that humorous side. This volume had a much smaller print run in its first edition than most of Bloch's books: because it came from a specialty press, more copies are preserved in good condition than some others. This copy is tight and clean, overall. The spine is somewhat faded, there are some small internal stains that do not affect the text: overall, a very presentable copy. From the collection of a reader, rather than a collector: and with luck, it will go to another reader.

Description:
One of Vance's scarcer first editions. Doubleday mostly sold to libraries in the period when this was published. This is a clean ex-library copy with some flaws: the jacket is missing a tiny patch in the middle of the spine, the endpapers have tape on them, there is a coffee stain on pp 52 and 53, the spine is somewhat slanted, and the ends of the spine somewhat crushed. There is a "Library of Congress Surplus Duplicate" stamp split in two on the copyright and half-title pages (I've seen this stamp on other books in its complete form, and it's quite recognizable if one knows it). The jacket is unclipped, in a plastic protector. Not a collector's copy, but not just a place-holder: it's in quite good enough shape to stand up to many more readings. At least Doubleday used good paper and binding materials at this point in their history. Feel free to ask for more pictures or more information.
