Chicago: New Publicatons, 1949. A Very Good+ to Near Fine copy. One short closed tear at the lower left corner of the front cover, with a touch of spine fading and creasing to the yapped edges. Reprints the novel "Seven Footprints To Satan" by A. Merritt, and the short story "The Wrath of Amen-Ra." Inner illustrations by Virgil Finlay, and the Lawrence cover painting is without question one of the coolest (and creepiest) we've ever seen. On an interesting note, McSweeney's used this cover painting for their "Enchanting Chamber of Astonishing Stories" anthology in 2004.

Description:
Paris: Les Ãditions de Minuit, 1957. First Edition. Attractive copy of Beckett's second dramatic masterpiece concerning the ennui surrounding Hamm and Clov, two mutually-dependent characters living in a wasteland of rubbish. Lieberson (1911-1977) was the president of Columbia Records from 1956-1971, and again from 1973-1975. Prior to that, he had been the producer and driving force behind their adoption of the long-play record (LP), which allowed for the complete recording on one disc of whole symphonies, entire operas, and Broadway musicals. He produced several of Columbia's first LP original cast recordings, such as South Pacific and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, though he seldom recorded whole plays. The one exception was the original 1956 Broadway production for Waiting for Godot, starring Bert Lahr as Estragon and E.G. Marshall as Vladimir. Best known as the Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz, Lahr's presence on the bill was not enough to make Godot a hit - audiences left in droves and the show…

Description:
New York: Triangle Publications, Inc, 1953. After receiving 50 rejection slips from an assortment of publications before a single piece of her creative writing was accepted, Plath was informed during her final term in high school that Seventeen would publish her story "And Summer Will Not Come Again" in their August, 1950 issue. The magazine would be the first mainstream publication where Plath's poetry and short fiction would be exposed, printing her work on eight occasions between 1950-1953. Her contributions in the present group include "Ode to a Bitten Plum," "a short, Keats-inspired poem in which the narrator, contemplating a plum, decides its seed represents more abstract concepts like time and eternity" (November 1950, p.104); "Den of Lions," a story based on her failed love affair with a boyfriend while attending Smith College (May 1951, p.127, 144-145); "It's All Yours" (story, October 1952, p.76, 100-104); "The Suitcases Are Packed Again" (poem, March 1953, p.91); and "Carnival Nocturne"…
