Very scarce and lovely cocktail recipe guide from the turn of the century. WorldCat locates one library holding (at Brown University). Recipes are intermixed with the latest coolers and other apparatus for bars and beer drawing which Bishop and Babcock Co. manufactured. A lovely Near Fine copy.

New York: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1899. First Edition, first impression, second issue with the ads headed 'New Fiction'. Original illustrated cloth and mostly printed dustjacket. Bierce's take on politicians, businessmen, and religious leaders. Very scarce in dustjacket. Near Fine in Very Good dustjacket, half inch of loss at top spine end, closed tear below, couple of small chips at lower edge, half dollar sized light stain at lower front panel.

Collection of two handwritten books and several printed books associated with the Fédération Français des Éclaireuses (French Federation of Girl Scouts) dated between the years of 1943-1947 and originating in the Marseille area in the South of France. Two handwritten books: 3e Compagnie [Rise] III Section Sainte Victoire, Clan des Liévres Carnet de Chants (Hare Clan Songbook) - Handwritten book of songs containing three "tomes" of French songs (some dated 1945) and one small bundle of music pages with songs written in English. The slip cover is hand-sewn in blue and white striped lightweight cotton stitched with white thread. The inner structure of the book appears to be handmade as well in a patterned fabric. The tomes are attached to the book with blue cotton cord. There is cord forming a tie closure as well. Includes street views, hotels, residences, waterfronts, steamships, beaches and other views. 43 pages of illustrations. 6 copies on Worldcat. Near fine condition.

New York: Grosset and Dunlap, [1931]. First Photoplay Edition, illustrated with scene from the Universal Film starring Boris Karloff and directed by James Whale at front jacket panel. Uncommon. Almost Near Fine, some shadowing at endpapers perhaps from an old jacket protector, in Very Good dustjacket, some light soiling, chips at spine ends and flap corners, less than dime sized chip at mid front spine edge.

Number 40 of 350 copies printed on hand made paper by Shakespeare Head Press, considered by many to be the press's most important work Decorated with hand colored maps, heraldic headpieces and tail pieces, and over 600 hand colored coats-of-arms drawn by Paul Woodrolfe. Near fine with very light shelf wear, and some darkening of spines.
