Very recently (c.2010), the Palace building and the grounds, lagoon, etc. were given a complete makeover. This very early image is titled and dated in ink, "Fine Arts Building / G. D. Hannah - Contractor / Dec., 1914." It shows the Palace with scaffolding, almost completed for the opening of the Exposition. The Exposition was held from Feb. 4 to Dec. 4, 1915.
