Athens: The American College of Greece, 1999. First edition. Regular issue, one of 940 copies in sewn wrappers (of 1250 total). A letter from Fermor to Oxford professor Trypanis in English and Greek about the contemporary Cretan poet who translated both the Illiad and The Odyssey into his native language. Fine in jacketed wrappers. 45 pp.

Athens & New Haven: Pharos, 1990. First edition. Thin quarto in blue and white (like the Greek flag) stapled wrappers. One of 750 copies printed at the Meriden-Stinehour Press in Lunenberg, Vt. "in commemoration of the entry of Greece into World war II on 28 October, 1940". Printed text facing facsimiles of holograph letters. Both letters written in 1940, as Greece was about to enter WWII. Fine. Writing to Henry Miller, Seferis asks his friend to write in support of Greek resistance to fascism. The Colossus of Marousi, which Miller noted as his favorite amongst his books, was published in 1941.

A brief note in ink from Marth to the subscriber. Folded in thirds for mailing, else very good. Basil King entered Black Mountain College at 16 and was one of the last students. A well-known artist, he is one of the last great living Black Mountain artists.

A well-known artist, he is one of the last great living Black Mountain artists.

Iowa: The Windhover Press, 1982. First Edition. Limited to 250 copies. 22pp., letterpress printed in two colors in Spectrum types on Rives paper. Blind-stamped on the title page with the likeness of Pound, with errata sheet. Laughlin was the founder of New Directions a venture he undertook with Pound's encouragement; he was Pound's editor. Their friendship is recounted rather lightly as the title suggests in this address he gave at Penn. A lovely production and a very fine copy - never read - in cloth-backed paper-covered boards, paper label on spine.
