Los Angeles: Molly Barnes Gallery, 1968. First edition. Loose Sheets. Good. Small single stiff sheet of paper, folded once to form a narrow booklet. An announcement flyer from the Molly Barnes Gallery in Los Angeles for a Dec 4 1968 - Jan 4 1969 exhibition of conceptual artist Eleanor Antin. The card was mailed to Fluxus poet Jackson Mac Low with his Bronx, NY address written in ink on the verso. The card, when opened, depicts a single image, a photograph that is captioned Fragments from Roissy. Among the earliest of the artist's shows at the blossoming of her career as a conceptual artist. Precedes her best known work, 100 Boots, by several years. The card measures 3 3/4" by 9" tall when opened. It has some heavy soiling to the top inch or so of the front cover with some similar soiling on the rear cover as well. Only in good condition, but an uncommon piece.
