No inscriptions but four biro 'scratch/pen' marks to the preliminary blank page where someone was trying to get a pen to work smoothly. No loss of text or plates. Finger soiling throughout with several other soil marks too. An expert repair to a tear to the lower corner of the aforementioned preliminary blank page and to a short tear to the leading margin of the preface page. No jacket (if there ever was one?) with light rubbing and soiling to the boards. The gilt title to the spine is very faint and hard to read. A more than acceptable reference copy of a rare publication.

Illustated with numerous b/w photographic images. Glt embossed lettering to the spine. Bump to the tail of the spine with slight or light associated creasing to the overlying wrapper. Fresh and clean. Dust wrapper not price clipped with minimal shelf wear. A very good plus copy.

Illustrated with numerous colour and b/w photographs throughout. Light bumps to the head and tail of the spine. A couple of faint mottle marks to the rear board, concealed under the wrapper. Clean and tight. Dust wrapper is protected in a fully reversible plastic sleeve. Slight toning to the spine of the wrapper with some chipping to the head of the spine of the wrapper. Short tear of 1 cm to the head of the front panel of the wrapper and a little loss over the corners of the wrapper. A very good book in a good wrapper.

A very scarce deluxe hardback copy.

It has a couple of small chips to the head of the rear panel - the largest being around 9mm in length. It also has a couple of tiny chips to the tail of the rear panel and a 3cm repaired tear to the tail of the rear panel. The whole has been housed in a fully reversible transparent plastic sleeve and it looks good for it. A very good, clean, tight and bright copy.
