Memphis, Tennessee:: Kyle Holland,, 2018.. Edition of 23. 6" W x 9" H (closed); 14 pages. Offset lithograph on Steel Blue French Paper. Text screenprinted from 12 pt. Hoefler. Bound as a modified accordion. Signed and numbered by the artist. Includes sheet with instructions for displaying. Kyle Holland: "The book depicts the forest at dusk using one-color offset lithography to reproduce photographs of a misty woodland edge and the flora leading up to it with an additional graphic image of trees and text screenprinted on top. Clonmel, Tipperary, Ireland:: Coracle Books,, 2015.. Edition of 300. 105 x 150mm; 12 pages. 4-page laminated cover. Saddle-stitched binding. Printed digitally. The Book Remembers Everything: "In her Living Locally series, Van Horn celebrates the landscape, culture, and community of her adopted home in rural Tipperary, Ireland. Collecting, documenting, and illustrating the regional language of the area, Van Horn both acknowledges her position as a kind of outsider (a 'blow in,' in the local slang, referring to 'anyone who moves here from somewhere else') and locates herself firmly within the community." Van Horn continues the series with this picture book of black and white cows grazing contentedly in the Irish countryside.

But what about the dark dreams? The dreams or visions about revenge, doing something wrong, or even killing? We've all said or heard the phrase, 'I could just kill you!' Such is the case with this poem. Barking dogs interrupt a writer's train of thought and in turn those thoughts plot out methods of disposing the dogs. Tinged… Read More

The overall theme of this series seems to be our relationship to our environment, to nature, to the world at large. This first book in the series begins with a quote from "Kylling Kluk" (1823) by J. Mathia Thiele which is also the title of this first book - "I think all the world is falling." We imagine Chicken Little from this fairy tale running around thinking the sky is falling because a nut hit him on the head. That was long ago, perhaps now we are creating the 'nuts' that are falling all… Read More

Signed and numbered by the artist. Insiya Dhatt: "'Illusions' examines the reality or elusiveness of basic qualities of life. By obscuring desirable qualities of life and placing them opposite optical illusions, 'Illusions' demonstrates the varying internal and external views of one's foundational needs. From a distance, the book can be viewed as visually stimulating yet closer up the picture is more nuanced. "'Illusions' is an accordion book with eight laser-cut optical illusions with a single word opposite each optical illusion. These words and images question the availability of so-called expected qualities of life. In my own life, I created the illusion of strength for my family in my home country while I struggled internally in my life in the West.

New Paltz, New York:: Papyrus Productions ,, 2010.. Edition of 10. 10.75 x 8.125"; 38 pages. Japanese stab binding. Photography. Imagination the Spy compares through photographs historic and contemporary representations of Oceania. Papyrus Productions: "One hundred years ago, the anthropologist Arthur Maurice Hocart worked and photographed on Lakeba and Rotuma, two remote Fijian islands. My own travels in Fiji from 1995 - 2001 took me to the same two remote islands. This book contrasts two responses to these similar experiences. Hocart's photographs, always on the left page, are housed in the Alexander Turnbulll Library, National Library of New Zealand, Te Puna Mâtauranga o Aotearoa. My own imaginative response to these Fijian islands results from my photographs, watercolors made in 1995-2001, and from a personal idiosyncratic collection of nineteenth century travel books.
