Description:
David Bruce& Watson. The UK first edition published by David Bruce & Watson in 1974. This is a very good or better copy. The book is excellent with no obvious wear to speak of.  Post Apocalyptic horror that was first published in the US in 1954. This UK first edition published later, is also rare. Influential in the development of Zombie and Vampire fiction, a number of films have been adapted based on the novel, including in 2007 a film of the same name starring Will Smith.   . Very Good. Description:
Hodder & Stoughton. London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1986 Thick 8vo., lettered in chunky typographic lettering gilt to spine; in the particularly fresh and vibrant pictorial dust jacket, featuring a chilling image by Gerald Grace (£12.95 net in the UK); pp. [xii], 13-912; an exceedingly bright example, small white mark to upper board, and very minor abrasion to spine; internally a touch toned, with some vertical lines of toning to the paper stock, likely caused during production; the jacket exceedingly fine, with no noticeable defects.  First UK edition.  Arguably one of King's most famous novels, It was his 22nd book, and tells the terrifying tale of a group of children in a small American town who are terrorised by a demonic clown. Inspired by the tale of the Three Billy Goat's Gruff, King envisaged an evil entity which lived in the sewers underneath people's feet, later claiming that the story came to him while out walking over a bridge in his home town of… Read More

Description:
Faber & Faber. First UK edition published by Faber & Faber in 1969. This is a very near fine copy. The jacket had very mild rubbing to the spine ends otherwise it is in excellent shape and not price clipped. The book has tiny rubbing to a corner otherwise likewise excellent. This copy is particularly rare as Brian Aldiss has signed the front free end paper and in addition has written out a Percy Shelly poem and renamed it "Ode to SF". A highly collectible copy with these attributes.  . Near Fine. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 1st Printing. 1969.

Description:
Cassell. First edition published by Cassell in 1941. This is a very good copy. The fragile wrapper has creasing to the edges and a closed tear to the bottom edge of the front panel. It has the correct price on the spine and is clean. The corners and spine ends have some wear. The book has a previous owners name to the front free end paper and a couple of indentations where someone has written in pencil. The pages have browned particularly to the text blocks with some light spotting. Overall a very good copy.  Drums of evil are beating in Haiti according to the blurb on the back of the dust wrapper - a fu manchu novel in its superbly illustrated jacket.  . Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 1st Printing. 1941.
