This is a copy of an advert that was published in 1977.  Unique as it is on cardstock. Present a historical overview and the ethos of the company.  We have not located any other copies.

Jean-Louis Forain (1852 - 1931) was a French Impressionist painter and printmaker, working in media including oils, watercolour, pastel, etching and lithograph. Compared to many of his Impressionist colleagues, he was more successful during his lifetime, but his reputation is now much less exalted.
