S. Merwin, Tagliabue, Shelton and others. Near fine, one of the better issues of a seminal little mag; and a much nicer than usual copy.

N.p.: Kenning, 2002. First Edition. 7" x 9"; 80 pages. In stapled decorated card covers. This is the "send-off issue," the last issue of this publication as a newsletter. "Kenning: A Newsletter of Contemporary Poetry, Poetics, And Nonfiction" was founded in 1998, and although it lasted only four years, it had contributions from many important poets; this issue with Nathaniel Tarn and Susan Schultz. This copy includes the insert by Thom Donovan. Wraps (yapped - overlapping - edges) lightly worn at extremities; clean interior. Easily very good.

The Lamont Poetry Selection for 1978. The sole flaw of this book is a slightly cocked spine noticeable only on the bottom half. About fine in Fine DJ. Inscribed to Burt Britten, a well-known NYC bookseller.

Edinburgh: K. D. Duval, 1961. First Edition. Quarter vellum, gilt titling and rule, with paper-covered patterned boards, t.e.g.; 4to. One of 300 numbered copies signed by the author. Printed by Giovanni Mardersteig on hand-made paper on the hand-press of the Officina Bodoni in Verona. Very fine copy in tape repaired, lightly soiled slipcase.

The first book by the Canadian-born poet; prose poems. Back cover quotes from Farley Mowat and Ry Cooder: "I wish I could play guitar like Bill". Cover creased but easily very good. Scarce.

This issue contains contributions by Anselm Hollo, Sorrentino, Denise levertov ("Letter to the Editors"), Fielding Dawson, Michael McClure, Louis Zukofsky a portfolio of jazz photographs including the cover by Leroy McLucas, and more. Subscription form laid in. Rubbed, contents clean and tight. One corner heavily creased, a number in heavy pencil on the cover thus good or better. In photographic covers.

Monograph published in conjunction with the 1956 traveling Kollwitz Exhibition in the Amerka Häuser throughout West Germany. Robert Fanning, who has provided a 60-pp critical introduction to this work, was an American dentist and avid Kollwitz collector who loaned many of the works used in the exhibition.

Seventh in a series of devotional calendars published by the Japanese Christian evangelist, labor organizer, and promoter of ecnomic cooperation, Toyohiko Kagawa (1888-1960). Kagawa was a frequent lecturer in the United States, where his doctrine of "Brotherhood Economics" had a major influence on American Co-Operative movements, especially in California. The Calendar consists of twelve sections, each with meditations on a Christian-Pacifist-Economic theme. OCLC notes only a single example (for 1951).
