This is what I think is a printer's proof of the dance music for La Mattchiche (La Maxixe). It still bears perforation marks, bits of the untrimmed paper, and some of the pieces (not the cover) are marked 'Specimen'.

La Mattchiche (La Maxixe) was known as the 'Brazilian Tango' which, in 1905, was all the rage in Paris. In April 1906, Hachette published this for sale in France, printing on the cover: 'La Mattchiche (La Maxixe) Le Grand Succes Parisien De 1905 (with dance figures) Spanischer Marsch' by M Eugenio and Borel-Clerc.'
It won Columbia Records' Grand Prize in 1905.
The piece was written/arranged by the French composer Charles Borel-Clerc (1879-1959).

Spike Milligan tells his version of the D.H. This is a First Edition (1972) of Lady of Quality, the last (39th) romance novel by the English writer Georgette Heyer (1902-1974). Heyer is the writer who established both the historical romance genre, and the Regency romance genre. She is also well-known for the incredible depth of her research, which makes her books as true to the period as if they were written by Jane Austen.

Lake O'Hara, The Secret Heaven in BC's Yoho National Park, in the Canadian Rockies, is a 164-page book of photographs. Each page is its own postcard.There are 2 pages of text; the rest of the book is stunning, frameable color photographs, each one 10 7/8 x 6 1/8". The photographs were taken by the author, who is a long-time travel guide specializing in the region.This book is 11 3/4" wide and 8" high. The paper is high quality, so it's quite heavy.This book has not been read, or even opened. It is in mint condition.

This is a stated first edition, and first US printing, of Last Essays, by Joseph Conrad. It was published in 1926 and includes 'Legends', the essay he was working on when he died (of a heart attack). It also includes a photo of the hand-written text of 'Legends'; these are the last words he wrote.
As you can see, this book originally belonged to the B'Nai Brith Hill Foundation of Toronto, which stamped the front and back endpapers and put a memorial bookplate on the inside front cover.
171 pages, mostly unadorned.
The binding has been split in the center but is otherwise nice and tight.
Dark blue boards with gold on the cover; there was gold on the spine but it has worn away.
There are the expected little spots here and there but, overall, it's in excellent condition.

Bound in Burgundy leather with bright gold design and print on the spine and cover.
As you can see, there is a bump to the top of the spine; that will have to be masked. The cover has a couple of barely-noticeable marks.
Inside, the book is pristine. It has not been read; there are no marks of any kind in it/on the pages.

The Last Tycoon is the unfinished novel of the American writer F Scott Fitzgerald (1896-1940), who was writing it when he died. It is about an ambitious workaholic Hollywood producer. Scribner's was Fitzgerald's publisher; after his death, Scribner's reprinted all of his works, all in this black and blue theme. This is a first edition from that set, printed in 1969. The previous copies were in the glossy boards; this book's covers are matte fabric.It does not appear to have been read. Laugh in the Dark, August 1971, 38 PagesThis is a copy from the first printing (blue cover).
The cover is by Kim Deitch; I'm not sure about the back cover—it looks like 'Flendale'. Inside, Rory Hayes, Spain Rodriguez, Bill Griffith, Clay Wilson, Justin Green, Larry Fuller, George Metzger, Michael McMillan and Willie Mendes.
The only flaw in this copy is that someone crossed out the original price of .50 and replaced it with .60.

The Laugh's On Me is the 12th best-selling book by American writer Bennett Cerf (1898-1971), the founder of Random House. By this time, he was one of the What's My Line? panelists.
It is "a humorous collection of 2000 stories, anecdotes and amiable observations." With several small illustrations by Doug Anderson. Published by Doubleday, 1959.
This copy is in good shape, although it has binding issues. The binding is too tight in some areas, and has cracked open in the center--I suspect that it was so tightly-bound that the original owner did that so he could read it. But it hasn't been thoroughly read.480 pages, bright yellow boards with black lettering on the spine.No dust jacket. There are fingerprints here and there and a tiny ink mark on the cover (see photo). The spine has darkened somewhat. But you can clean it with Absorene.
I couldn't find any copies of this book anywhere else--it's rare. So it would be worth it to have it fixed up.

There is minor waving to the front endpapers and a bookplate which can be removed. Otherwise fine condition; this book has not been read.

Life With Father is a collection of short stories by the American author and cartoonist Clarence Day (1874-1935), published just after his death in 1936.
Day wrote humorously about his family and life. The stories of his father were first printed in the New Yorker magazine. They portray a rambunctious, overburdened Wall Street broker who demands that everything from his family should be just so. The more he rails against his staff, his cook, his wife, his horse, salesmen, holidays, his children and the inability of the world to live up to his impossible standards, the more comical and lovable he becomes to his own family who love him despite it all. It is a picture of New York upper-middle-class family life in the 1890s.
In 1939, the book was turned into a play. The Broadway production ran for more than seven years to become the longest-running non-musical play on Broadway, a record that it still holds. The play was adapted into a 1947 feature film and a television series.

This is one of a mint-condition set of three matching books by the American author William Faulkner (1897-1962). They are first reissues, by his publisher (Random House) of Sanctuary, Light in August and The Sound and the Fury. They are simple red matte boards with gold lettering on the cover and spine. Lovely paper. They do not appear to have been read.

This one is Light in August, first published in 1932. The novel centers on two strangers, a pregnant white woman and a man who passes as white but who believes himself to be of mixed ethnicity. In a series of flashbacks, the story reveals how these two people are connected to another man who has deeply impacted both their lives.
This copy: 378 pages, dated 1959. Pristine.

This is a first edition of Lightly Poached, a 1973 novel written by Lillian Beckwith (1916-2004). Beckwith was English but, in the late 50s, she moved to the Hebrides of Scotland and lived there for 20 years, mainly on the Isle of Skye. She wrote 7 books about her experiences. They're semi-autobiographical, and mostly fiction. They are quite funny and were extremely popular.This is an online synopsis:

This is a first edition of The Long Left Flank: The Hard Fought Way to the Reich, 1944-1945, by the Canadian Army officer and military historian Jeffery Williams (1920-2011).
It is the story of the battle to clear the Channel coast and open the port of Antwerp. The struggle, which saw appalling casualties, is not well-known because the battle of Normandy was going on at the same time. Loss would have been a disaster; its result was victory in the Rhineland.
