Chapter on Man Ray. Signed presentation by Natkin dated 1940 on flyleaf. Wrappers a bit worn and partially faded. Some repair to spine with archival tissue. Smudge inside front cover else clean.

A 6 x 8" B&W photograph on a 10x 12 grey mount embossed with the photographers name. A. J. Armstrong, Cottage Grove Ore. Sharp clear image with a large group of men in front of a wooden building with smokestacks and a partially logged hill behind. JG James is written on the end of a log. On the back is written in pencil J James Mill Disston. A later hand in ink has written Diston Ore. ca 1895. However a search shows Armstrong had a studio in Cottage Grove from 1909-1917.
