CloThe book is inscribed and signed by the author at the top of the first fly-leaf page. The book is in fine condition. We could not find any faults.

Later "Library" edition of book first published in 1895. Cover has has some discoloration on bottom front and back covers; otherwise in near fine condition. Beginning at about page 217 there is A water stain near bottom front of the pages. Otherwise the pages (on good quality deckled paper) are in excellent condition. This book has probably never been read as the pages have not been separated at the top. There are no marks, tears, bookplates, etc.

Very rare copy of author's first book featuring the lady detectivge Madame Storey. First edition by the Doran Co. There may have been an earlier edition by another publisher.
The book (no dust jacket) is in excellent condition for its age. Light wear at bottom of spine, more pronounced at the top spine edges, otherwise miniscule wear on covers; and light smudge; small smudges on the table of contents page and top of page 17; and light pencil marks (previously erased) on the first flyleaf page. Tight binding. Pages are clean, clear, without marks, folds or foxing.

1893 first edition by Librairie Plon, Paris,Cover is in good- very good conditon with only slight shelf wear at edges. The book is in French. Leather binding along corners and spine. Gilt scroll work and lettering on spine still clear. Light foxing on inside covers and a name has been inscribed on the firts fly-leaf page. Spine is tightly bound and pages in very good condtions. Size: 7 x 4.5"

Stated First American Edition. This rich memoir by a great dancer has over 350 illustrations, b&w and collor photos and drawings. The book is like new and dj n in good + condition, with some slight shelf wear at the top corners and on small tear (1/4") verso.

Book in excellent condition. The only condition faults we could find were light shelf wear at top and bottom of spine and cover corners. There is an owner's stamped name at the top of the first flyleaf page and at the bottom of the last flyleaf page. No dj.
