Remarkable period grocery trade catalogue advertising a rich variety of fresh, dry, and preserved goods, fish, oysters, various meats, candies, sauces, alongside various household baking and cooking ingredients, farming implements, many medicines; all accompanied with an exhaustive price-list, corresponding sizes, et al. A most remarkable period trade catalogue offering insight into the rich offerings available to consumers in the early part of the last century (particularly before the Second World War). Rubbing, and some spotting to the cover, faint tide-marks to the margins of the initial pages (entirely unaffecting legibility of the text), else, very good. Unrecorded in OCLC. Not found in Peel, LAC/BAC, University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections, Guelph, McGill, et al. Rare indeed.

Remarkably well-preserved, contents remain bright, clean, and unmarked with tight, sound binding; near fine. Stubbs wrote in the Foreword: "Just a word as to the necessity for the publication of this pamphlet. Two weeks ago today, on the 24th ult., I delivered my final, reasoned, written Judgement in "The Macdonald Will Case." The case is one of the most important in the history of the Province; and, perhaps, no previous Judgement in our courts ever so vitally affected the public interests. Yet the JUDGEMENT has been practically suppressed in the public press, ostensibly from fear or through threat of libel action". Lewis St. George Stubbs served as the Surrogate Judge and Senior Country Court Judge for the Eastern Judicial District for the Province of Manitoba at the time of the rendering of his verdict. Extremities show edgwear, light fraying to the spine ends, some tide-marks to the margins of the boards (entirely unaffecting text), light occasional foxing (chiefly confined to the endpapers), else, text-block remains overwhelmingly clean, and unmarked, binding tender but quite sound.
