Leaflet 3, 1938.Eight tribes shared the basin of Mackenzie River: Chipewyan, Beaver, Sekani, Slave, Yellowknife, Dogrib, Hare and Nathani. Some scholars believe the Mackenzie River natives to be the last people to migrate from Asia into America, arriving not many centuries before the Christian era. Signed "Henry P. Fletcher". The lower left edge of the portrait is roughly cut & there is some light soiling to the mount. Good. <p>Fletcher adds after his signature "To Seymour Halpern". Signed in blue ink "Frederic Delzell". There is staining to the verso with some offsetting to the right margin of the portrait, not affecting the image or the signature. There is light creasing & very light offsetting to the text portion of the ad. Good. <p>The ad is promoting a performance by Delzell , "Young American Conductor" as guest conductor of the Boston Symphony Pops at Symphony Hall, Boston on June 21, 1940. The photographic portrait shows him at three-quarters length, wearing evening dress and holding a baton.<p>Frederic Delzell was a pianist as well as organist and choir director of the Episcopal Church in Boston.
