Inscribed on the front free end paper, "To --- a friend of my dad's, Norman Mailer, February 1949". Later printing without the Rinehart logo on the copyright page. The new facsimile dust jacket is protected in a mylar sleeve. The spine of the book has wear at the top and bottom, minor chipping. A 1/2" tear at the top of the spine has been repaired. Interior of book is clean, no marks. Attractive with the new facsimile dust jacket.
