Twenty-four lithographic plates in pale green tint, each showing a number of brooches, necklaces, combs, earrings, et. Maurice Dufrène was a founding member of the Société des Artistes Decorateurs and worked on Meier-Graefe's "La Maison Moderne". He designed furniture, ceramics and interiors as well as jewelry. His later style evolved to Art Deco and he designed a salon in the Ambassade Francaise pavilion in the 1925 Paris Exposition. The company, celebrating its 75th anniversary and its recent remodelling, sold furniture, bedding, carpets, stoves and refrigerators at its store on 153, 155, 157 adn 159 Chatham Street in New York and 408, 410, 412 Fulton Street in Brooklyn. The two front panels show the new exterior of the Chatham Street shop and an interior scene, peopled with elegant customers. The verso includes a printed list of the goods and praise for the establishment.
