Lovely gilt dentelle to the inner margins of the boards, gorgeous marbled endpapers, and all gilt edges. Rich with many lovely vignette engravings [attributed to Samuel Harding (see ESTC. No. 001032962)]. A few superficial scuffs to the lovely leather extremities, period ink name to the front endpapers, else, text-block remains quite bright, clean, and unmarked with firm, sound binding. A most handsome presentation of an unusual, and scarce title in a lovely period binding. "Authorship of part 1 attributed also to P.D.
