On this pamphlet, the chain lines are horizontal, leading us to side with the ESTC's assessment. The Welsh philosopher, preacher, and political pamphleteer Richard Price (1723-1791) became something of a celebrity with the publication of his enormously popular, Observations on the Nature of Civil Liberty.
