Description:
Vol 128 of the Memoirs. First edition.Moderate tanning of spine and slight tanning mark on front cover, very small imperfection on head of spine; otherwise unmarked, undamaged, and virtually as new, apparently never been opened.Prof. Jones's introduction and notes provide excellent context to this fascinating series of letters from pioneering American physician Jonathan Warren, probably the first to administer anesthetic during pediatric surgery and a leader in reconstructive surgery techniques.
