Parisiis (Paris): J. Barbou, 1761. xlviii, 392pp, [2]. Contemporary full mottled calf, smooth back divided into six panels , morocco author label to second panel, remaining panels with central flower device and smaller flower corner pieces, covers with triple fillet border, gilt roll to edges and inner edges, all edges gilt, french curl marbled endpapers. Slightly rubbed to extremities, especially outer joints, small amount of abrasion to foot of covers, small amount of loss to rear lower inner edge. Internally bright, small ink stain to Aa4 catching a couple of letters but not affecting sense, signatures Ff and Gg lightly browned, otherwise bright and clean. Previous owners book label and shelf label to front pastedown. With a frontispiece and two other full page engraved plates. Usual attractive Barbou publication. Brunet V:87. Reprint. Full Calf. Good+. 12mo.
