First American edition, first issue with publisher's catalog dated November 1863, page 11, Tales of a Wayside Inn is unpriced and described as Nearly ready. Binding is BAL HT green cloth. Green cloth binding and spine are not faded with very minor corner and crown wear. Top edge gilt. Front paste down has the name of a previous owner in pencil. Frontispiece and tissue guard have minor browning, the rest of the interior of the book is very clean. Edges of a few pages of the publisher's catalog roughly opened. First appearance of Paul Revere's Ride. Overall a fairly attractive copy. BAL 12136.

Verso of card is canceled 1909 with a one cent stamp and is addressed with a note in ink. Second postcard in color, number C-246, shows two children with an out house. Verso of card is canceled 1942 with a one cent stamp and is addressed with a note in pencil. Third postcard in color, no date, number 200, shows two children about to take a canoe ride with a big moon face smiling, by Walt Munson. Verso of card not canceled, no stamp and no note. All three 5 1/2" by 3 1/2". Condition very good with some corner wear. The postcards are protected in clear archival safe envelopes.

A handsome book bound in imitation brown leather with title and race cars on the front cover. Book is protected in mylar. Warmly inscribed on the front paste down by Tim Flock to a friend and dated 9-8-95. The friend had organized a crew for the purpose of supplying a car for Tim Flock in a 1951 NASCAR race. Pictures appear in the book of the two with the car. Tim Flock was one of NASCAR's early pioneers along with his family, Ethel Mobley, Bob Flock, and Fonty Flock. This book tells their story. Also included is a photo from Daytona Beach 1950 inscribed and signed by Tim Flock to his friend. The book is not signed by the author, Larry Fielden. A rare and unique item inscribed by one of NASCAR's pioneers.
