Signed by author on the back of the front pastedown map. Extended title, "A Russian Class-War Novel". At the top of the half title page someone wrote, "signed 1st". Some dirt marks on spine. See pictures. Binding is excellent. There is no Dust Jacket. The top page edges are tinted red. Title page indicates this is a Philomatheia(devotion to learning)book.

Dust Jack color is red, white and blue. There is some tears and wrinkles to the dust jacket. Covers are in very good condition with some slight bumping. Front inside flap of DJ is clipped at the corners. Pages are rough cut at the right edge except for the first few pages. There is a date written in pencil on the title page. This was a church library book from the United Brethern Church in Halifax, Pa. There ink stamp is on the bottom page edges and there is a library card and date due card attached to the inside rear cover.

Slight bump to bottom edges of cover. Dust jacket shows a little wear at top and bottom edges.

The Scientific Living Series, The How And Why Science Books. Prior school textbook. Stamp on inside of the front and back covers read: This Book is the Property of the State of Texas. There is a piece missing from the front lower cover corner about the size of a dime. All corners bumped and worn thru. Very little writing thru book. Total pages 128. Seems more like a reading book.

Remainder mark(black magic marker dot)near spine at bottom page edges. Slight bump on spine. Only one page crease at upper corner on page 273/274. No writing or marks. Small hole in DJ at rear. This is a first printing as the number 1 is in the number line.

Easy Growth in Reading series. Number on bottom of copyright page H-1146 and number in box on rear cover 12-46. Prior school library book. Property Of New Cumberland School District, New Cumberland, Pa. ink stamp in front pastedown. Pages clean and tight binding. Some lite scratching to rear cover.

Spine sunned. Covers dirty. Small stain on front cover. Brown marks on rear cover. Corners bumped and worn thru. Name and address on front pastedown and a gift inscription on next page. Title page separated but included. Some brown marks here and there on about the first 50 pages. Some page creasing. Front and rear hinges starting to come loose.

Prior Public Library Book. Seems like someone cut the dust jacket and glued it onto the front cover. It was cut narrow to fit but some of the edges of the letters are cut off and at the lower right corner the S in Ames is worn off. On the rear cover some of the blue is worn off. Binding is good and may have even been rebound long ago. There is stickers and ink stamps indicating this was withdrawn from the Harrisburg Pa. Public Library Dauphin County Service. The pages are in pretty good shape. There is some page creasing, small tears and one spot I saw was taped. Page edges are dirty and has some bumps. 271 pages. This book would be of interest to Boy Scouting.

Front cover is near separated. Spine is in poor condition with pieces missing. Corners and edges are worn hard. Prior junior high school book with the round school indentation stamp at a few places thru book. Card holder residue on inside back cover and date due paper residue on adjacent page. Second printing.
