The jacket has not been price-clipped and has slight uniform fading to the spine. It also has an expertly repaired tear to the head of the spine, which remains slightly open - about 1cm in length. First edition. A very good, clean, tight copy in good plus jacket. The text supported by numerous photographic reproductions after the artist's work. Loosely inserted is a letter from Richard Rosenthal (publisher) to Mr Muldoon Elder of the Vorpal Gallery, Soho (who exhibited the artist's work in London) dated February 24, 1976 and flat signed by the publisher. Also a loosely inserted Vorpal Gallery invitation card. The jacket has not been price-clipped. It has some staining to the verso with tide-marks - the moisture not affecting the book in any way and hardly noticable from the front of the jacket. Some rubbing to the peripheries of the jacket and a slight open nick to the head of the spine of the jacket.

Slight splitting to the gutter of a couple of gatherings - all pages remain firmly holding. Several board corners a little bumped or turned in. A light bump to the tail of the spine and a slight soil mark to the front board. A very good, clean, tight copy of this scarce book.

Light bump to the front edge of the front board. A slight split to the head of the spine for 1 cm - barley visible. Neat brown ink presentation inscription dated 1928. A few page margins have slight finger soiling otherwise the pages are surprisingly clean and tight. A very good copy.
