Softcover. Near fine. 6" x 10" folder containing 11 loose sheets illustrating uniform styles for doormen, bellmen, and other hotel staff, and one sheet of text describing materials and construction and available modifications. Minor handling wear to folder, else fine. Oddly, this packet has no publication information or brand information of any kind. Based on the cover illustration, it likely dates from the late 1950s or early 1960s and, as such, it offers useful documentation of the styles of that period. Offerings include a doormens' coats and overcoats, a detachable cape to be worn with an overcoat, a bellmens' coats, general "hotel or buildng" suits, and three styles of eton jacket. Buttons were available in bone or metal (with gilt or nickel finish); braid could be added to collars, pocket flaps, and sleeves; and ties, shirts, emblems, lettering, and insignia were also available.
