This is an ORIGINAL linen-backed one sheet movie poster for "ULYSSES",1967, based upon the JAMES JOYCE 1922 novel and starring Milo O'Shea, Barbara Jefford, Anna Manahan, Maurice Roeves and Fionnula Flanagan. Directed by Joseph Strick. Screenplay by Joseph Strick and Fred Haines (Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay). A One Sheet poster: 41" x 27" plus 2" white linen border.` Joyce's novel was first published by Sylvia Beach from her Paris bookstore, Shakespeare & Company. This film overcame many censorship roadblocks and wildly mixed critical reviews. Linen-backed for ease of handling and preservation.
