Description:
Berkeley: Wilderness Press, 1981. Reprint . Durable Pictorial Soft Cover. Near Fine/No Jacket. SIGNED BY ROWELL on the short title page. Though copyright is 1974, this is a reprint because the first edition was not printed in Japan. Though not dated, this was most likely printed in 1981 based on a review in a journal. On the copyright page, the sticker "printed in Japan" covers a misprint: "printed in Iapan". This book is the same size and format as the first printing, but has a softcover binding. Copies of this classic Yosemite climbing book that are signed by Rowell are becoming increasingly difficult to find. The book measures 279mm tall x 224mm and has 207 + [1] pages, 115 b/w & 16 color photos. Book is in near fine condition with no previous owner marks or writing on any pages (excluding Rowell's signature), no creased pages, no soiling. There is a tiny bit of abrasion to the the very tip of the top front cover corner and a very shallow scratch (not through the… Read More
