1984. Quarto. Stapled at left margin. 41 pp. Photocopy of the autograph manuscript. With autograph inscription in brown ink by the composer to Dr. Andrew J. Werner, signed in full and dated 21 August 1986. No other copies located. The composer's archive is held at Columbia University. Turkish composer İlhan Mimaroğlu came to the United States to study at Columbia under Paul Henry Lang and Douglas Moore. He went on to study with Vladimir Ussachevsky as well as collaborating with Edgard Varèse and Stefan Wolpe. In connection with his electronic compositions, Mimaroğlu worked as a producer for Atlantic Records before forming his own label, Finnadar, in 1971.

The Valsette was first published as part of Kodály's Opus 3 works for piano, but was later published separately and not included in future editions. Emil Telmányi was a Hungarian violinist well-known for performing and promoting the works of Carl Nielsen, as well as his recordings of Bach using a special curved bow.

Vidit suum dulcem natum" 11ff. of various sizes (the solo part being 237 x 185 mm). Notated in brown ink on 5-7 stave rastrum-ruled paper, including one "Solo" part; four "Dessus" parts; three "2e. Dessu ou hatue contre pour l'Enfant" parts; two "Haute contre pour l'Enfant" parts; and one bass part with text ("[?]In tribulatione mea") in the same meter and key as the other parts. "Quid tibi feci" 4ff. of various sizes. Notated in black ink on 8-9 stave rastrum-ruled paper, being several copies of the bass part of a choral piece for larger forces. Some small stains and soiling to a few leaves, but otherwise in very good condition. Unlocated in RISM. Two unrecorded early 19th century choral pieces. The carol-like composition "Vidit suum dulcem natum" contains a full solo part and enough of its inner parts to lend itself to a satisfactory reconstruction and performance.
