NY: Viking, 1983. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good+/Good+. Bell's 1st novel, the low price is intended to reflect the lowish grade and issues present. Viking seems to have had some trouble with the glue at the upper text edge, more than necessary is present, text unaffected, opens cleanly to gutter. Additionally, the glues used neath the pastedowns seem to have yellowed, and the front hinge, while sound, has a roughish look. Will try to capture as much of this as possible in the upcoming fotos. The remainder stripe on the texts top edge is visible, pinpoint size, from the page viewed as though reading.
