First edition on the English explanation stated as 1955 with 10,000 copies. However, title page states publication date of 1954; copyright page states 1955. Some of the drawings are from the German occupation, and others are post-WWII. Powerful and poignant drawings. Hardcover book in blue cloth is in fine conditon. DJ in good condition in spite of some repaired tears. Otherwise fine. Attached to the end papers is a complete typed 2 page description of the contents in English.
