Description:
Raleigh, NC, and Seattle, WA: TwoMorrows Publishing and Hamster Press, 2002. 1st edition. Soft cover. Fine/No Jacket (as issued). Fine (as new, minor storage rubbing). 4to, 96pp, stapled wrappers. A collection of work by pioneering African-American cartoonist "Grass" Green, edited by the pioneering historian of comics fandom Bill Schelly. Green's work began appearing in fan publications as early as 1962, and his career has received little formal study outside the fan community, but this work is ripe for serious investigation. This collection was published some months before Green's death in summer 2002.
