Japan, 1989. Hardcover with Slipcase. Near Fine/Very good. A rare volume with 447 pages that appear to cover the history of Yokohama from 1853 to 1989. I did find something that said Copyright by City of Yokohama 1989; howevr the text and publication otherwise is almost entirely in Japanese, which I am unable to read. The book is in a plastic slipcase with a paper banner wrapped around the bottom of it. The book is in excellent new or nearly new condition The paper banner on the slipcase Is torn. The book is replete with many photographs and reproducitons of drawings and paintings. The boards are cloth covered with what feels like silk to me, but it may be some other fabric. Pictorial boards. Truly a wonderful book, for anyone who can read it! Please ask questions if you need more informaiton before purchasing.
