A beautiful double page pictorial spread taken from the British fan Magazine Picturegoer Weekly for the classic Fritz Lang thriller that starred Henry Fonda and Sylvia Sidney. Printed in orange with many b&w stills the pictorial measures 18 1/4" x 12" when opened, and would look great framed. Fine.

New York: Samuel French, 1947. 1st Paper Edition . Paper. Sharp looking 1st printing of the paper edition of the play "You Touched Me!. Based on a short story by D.H. Lawrence. Laid in the book is a nice hand written 8 line note from Donald Windham, dated Jan 1978. The verso of the card is illustrated with one of Windham's mildly homoerotic postcard collages. Also laid in the book is a card for a production of the play in 1958 presented by the Equity Library Theatre in NYC. Also included is a playpill from the original Broadway production. The front cover pictures a young Montgomery Clift, Edmund Gwen and Catherine Willard. The top of the playbill has been signed by Donald Windham. The play ran for only 109 performances, and was one of Clift's early stage roles even considering that he began acting as a young boy.
