Paris: Chez la veuve Duchesne, 1784. Hardcover. See Description. Small 12mo. pp. 24, 240. Occasional mild marginal foxing. Name A.E. Gallatin lightly penciled on front blank fly-leaf. Bound in full contemporary deep red morocco with gilt spine. Gilt lable re-newed. All edges gilt. Small repair to upper corner tips of boards. Theatre almanac printed annually during the years 1752-1794, 1800-1801, 1815. Interesting for the history of Parisian theatre and other public entertainments. [Grand-Carteret #180].

Four-color offset lithograph on paper. [28⅛ x 23¼ in. (71.4 x 59.2 cm)], one of a printing of 4,000. From a series of four works titled "Column" the others were named Column no. 2 (Picasso 90), Column no. 3 (Chile-F), and Column no. 4 (IB-affair). The title refers to the work's likeness to newspaper columns: full of facts, but a colorfully cartooned map of textual facts. The artist's signature is reproduced in the lower right. Discoloration to white edges, else very good. Still very pleasant to the eye. All posters are presently stored between acid free boards, flat, under weight. They will be shipped rolled, in tubes.

Dale Evans, who was born with the name Francis Smith, was born in 1912 and began her career as a nightclub singer, then later singing on radio. She then moved to Hollywood and worked for Republic Pictures, where she made movies with Roy Rogers and became known as "The Queen of the West".
This black & white photo is on the front of a postcard, and depicts a very young Dale Evans in a bikini.
Dale's signature was imprinted on the photo, but she also signed the photo in brown ink. The photo is matted and framed.
This is a rare collectable item, depicting a young Hollywood star before she became a Hollywood legend.
