On the front free endpaper is the contemporary ownership inscription of Paul Binding who has since also become a Faber writer; in 2002 he reviewed McGahern's novel That They My Face the Rising Sun for the Independent on Sunday newspaper. Just below this is the later signature of the Canadian writer, critic and editor John Metcalf.Free endpapers partially and faintly tanned. Near fine in very good indeed dustwrapper with a few small nicks.
