There are two abrasions on each cover. It seems that a previous owner may have used tape. In removing the tape, some of the cloth was pulled. This is a glue residue on the ffep. There is also minor fading on the spine and along the top edges. However, the dust jacket is VG+. It is mylar-wrapped, NOT price clipped and has no nicks, rubs or wears. This is a wonderful signed copy of Gores' first mystery, a very scarce well-written book. Inside there is some age yellowing of the inside boards only with previous owner marks on the ffep. The text is very clean and bright. The DJ is mylar wrapped and price clipped. There is minimal wear with only some rubs along the edges and spine ends. There are various small slits and chips there too. Documented by RR Auction (copy of certificate included) A very, very elusive book in GOOD condition lacking a DJ. This copy is tight with fading along the boards and spine end. But the gilt and design on the spine are still clear. Within there is a bit of foxing on the end pages but the text is clean.
