Dark green boards with bright gold gilt lettering on the spine. The covers are clean , the corners are sharp, the book pages are pristine - crisp, clean, bright, notation and defect free. The book pages are exceptionally white. The book has decorative page edges on all of the edges. This was part of a Doctor's collection and many of his books were in immaculate condition. The book has numerous black and white illustrations. 851 pages including the index. This volume has a nice article on the 1939 New York World's Fair.. First Edition. Hard Cover.
