Very Rare SIGNED First Edition by the author Sherwood Anderson. Also comes from the library of John Stuart Groves, a 20th-century book collector resident in Wilmington, DE. and has his Gold bookplate attached.The book is in ok shape, maybe a 6 out of 10, it has a lean to it, the DJ is in a protected cover, some slight browning of the pages, but overall is in amazing shape for an almost 100 year old book.

Signed/Inscribed by John Fowles, stated First American Edition. Dust Jacket in protected plastic sleeve. Book is in nice shape, about a 6 on a 10 scale. SHIPS FREE VIA PRIORITY MAIL in protected box.

(Tel-Aviv Museum) stated and dated 1962. and where he writes about "her understanding the problems of the Tel-Aviv Art Museum." The book is in nice shape, 138 plates in B/W, 10 in color. On a scale of 1-10 the book may be a 6 (with a thumb on the scale) BUT this book is a REVIEW COPY and comes with the actual paper from The Viking Press that says that.
The dustjacket is protected in a plastic cover but has some issues, the pages and photographs/illustrations are in good shape.
This is the only REVIEW COPY that I have been able to find listed anywhere.

On a 1-10 scale this book might rate a 5 (with possibly a thumb on the scale) but it is her first book ever published. The book was also made into a movie starring Joan Crawford and Fred MacMurray. The dustjacket is close to toast, it is 82 years old though. The book itself is in okay condition, has some foxing going on, interior pages are in nice shape.
Bottom line, it's Helen MacInnes's 1st book, not a reprint, and she signed it, not many of these out there that I've come across, as close to rare as you can get.
