Privately printed, 1894-01-01. First THUS. Hardcover. Good. 0x0x0. Very rare complete 12 volume set printed in 1894. First English translation. "Privately printed for Subscribers only. Edition strictly limited to 750 sets on Albion deckle-edge paper and 50 sets on Crocker Japan Vellum. Printed from type to type distributed." This set is the Albion deckled-edge. Set Number 535 hand written in first volume. Gold gilt to top edges (dust soil and few scratches to gilt) Boards on all volumes show shelf wear, many with square corners but some are bumped with fraying that ranges from mild to moderate. Pages are toned but unmarked. Bindings range from tight to cracked but no separations noted in any of the volumes. This set is in remarkable condition for its age. Please contact with any questions.
